Kampus je celkem rozlehlý a tento způsob hromadné dopravy je tam podle mého názoru velmi vhodný. Systém tvoří trať mezi stanicemi  Technologie-zentrum a Eichlinghofen H-Bahn s krátkou odbočkou ke stanici Campus Nord (původní konečná poblíž stanice DO-Universität, kde je možný přestup na linku 1 S-Bahnu). H-Bahn je zařazen do systému veřejné dopravy v Dortmundu, takže v něm platí jednotlivé i denní jízdenky DEW21. Systém byl navrhnut a vyroben Siemensem a podobný jezdí ještě na letišti v Düsseldorfu. Vozidla jezdí bez řidičů v pracovních dnech v desetiminutovém intervalu. Maximální rychlost je 50 km/h, subjektivně můžu říct, že to v některých úsecích docela sviští a náklon v zatáčkách je taky slušný. procházeli po zrušených důlních tratích u Havířova. Počasí moc nepřálo, ale přece jenom, fotky dnes už mají určitou historickou hodnotu. Od té doby jsem tam nebyl, takže netuším, jak to tam teď vypadá (v našem kraji se situace občas mění pozoruhodně rychle).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Důl 9. květen a výtažná kolej za branou závodu. Kolej dříve pokračovala dál a napojovala se na původní trať Kunčice - Český Těšín. Tady (asi 1 km od nádraží Havířov) byl tehdy konec koleje i s funkční předvěstí vjezdového návěstidla. Dále pokračovala vlečka do cukrovaru, která za dnešním koncovým zarážedlem přecházela Vídeňskou ulici. Cukrovar skončil v roce 1971. Kdy byla snesena vlečka nevím, ale podle toho, jak to tam vypadá, to už pár (desítek) let bude.
